School Mental Health Education Program

The "Typical or Troubled?®" education program is a research-based school mental health education program which was created as a response to the Columbine High School shooting in 1999 by the American Psychiatric Association Foundation. The program is designed to educate all school personnel working closely with adolescents to identify if teenage behavior is typical, or if warning signs of a mental health issue are present and would benefit from interventions.
